HAKEE TO RELASE HIS GIFT AT THE Y-HOPE? YOUTH CONCERT AUG,15 th Y-HOPE? 2009
TIME IS ON OUR SIDE..............................
Time is on our side and I say that with the utmost pride.
Because how many peoples’ fore fathers you know,
Could’ve went through slavery and survived.
History ain’t no joke we’ve just become desensitized.
Concerned with the plight of everyone else,
When our own people are struggling just to stay alive.
Kidnapped, raped, hunged, burned, and brutalized.
And we got the nerve to do drive by shootings,
And perpetuate this racial genocide.
Homicide, metacide, and fratricide.
We’re leading in every category,
Because we simply won’t open our eyes.
Jealousy, hatred, and envy.
Man we hate our own damn selves sometimes.
Can’t even look at the reflection in the mirror,
Because we know what’s laying dormant on the inside.
But time is on our side.
You ask what makes me say that and why?
Because how many of our mothers thought about having an abortion,
But all praises she changed her mind.
It’s not her fault she had a no good man by her side.
Pimping, hustling, faking, and struggling,
Chasing a never ending high.
We were given a chance to live for a specific reason at this time.
All you got to do Black Man is find out where your destiny lies.
We are beautiful people we’ve just been hypnotized.
Caught up by this world’s glitter and gleam,
Uncivilized by the uncivilized.
But we are God’s children and the cream always rise.
Destined to be great leaders and teachers,
If we would simply obey God’s Guidelines.
He is the creator and to us he never lies.
He shows us the path to truth and righteousness,
Because in Love is where he resides.
He wants us to be happy in all walks of life and have a stable piece of mind.
But first you must you must have respect and walk with an upright spine.
Heaven is right there in your family Black people so Love one another
and be wise.
Men learn how to be good Husbands and women learn how to be good Wives.
Children respect your parents this is what God said in Ephesians
chapter 6 not I.
And parents raise your children with Love.
The longer we do,
The longer time will stay on our side.

Ron Haynes Is welcome by the City of St. Louis At The Stimulus Rally II Water Tower! NCYC Y-HOPE ? TO SOON HOST RON! Y-HOPE? 2009
Hello my brothers and sisters I want to thank you for the prayers and support. We had a successful rally we had the largest crowd we ever had in St. Louis reminded me of one we had in Atlanta. God blessed us to unite with Pastor Solomon Williams of the New Jerusalem Cathedral Church who is one of the pastors in this city that want to see change in the community through the gospel. I'm so blessed at this time to meet as many pastors that want the same. The city of St. Louis, through Pastor Williams and Alderman Freeman Bosley Sr. donated for the rally a 16x16 stage, 20 picnic tables,10 trash barrels, 100 balloons, and a tent for shade that can hold up to 100 people. Harmony health care donated 2 porta potties and 4 smaller tents for shade. The anointed artist Slugger Roo, Nedra, Minista, were a blessing to the crowd. New Jerusalem Cathedral dancers and Georgia Haynes(mime) brought cheers and tears from the crowd. But "a child shall lead them" the GRT steppers caught people by surprise as they stepped for Jesus. Their ages ranged from 5-16 Finally after Slugger Roo finished ministering in rap about salvation it was time for a word from our sponsor, Jesus Christ. We brought the Word that Jesus didn't come into the world to condemn the world but through Him the world would be saved. God so loved the "hood" that He gave His only begotten son. The alter call was made for the community and people came forward from picnic tables, from under the tents, and the perimeter to pray. Of course we then made it personal and hands went up to receive Christ. When the dust settled over 32 people gave their hearts to the Lord including some that came to church the next day (Sunday) to give their life to Christ. One of which was one of a vender's team that served at an informational booth at the rally. Praise God! We(Pastor Williams and I) gave out 3 Brand new Bikes for a drawing then came the after party by DJG. The people didn't want to go home they celebrated until dark and until the city came to pick up the tables... Oh I almost forgot channel 2 and channel 4 sent cameras to highlight the rally on the 9:00 and 10:00 news. To God be the glory what He's is dong in the STL.
P.S. My brother Gregg Haynes and the "Happy Guitar" and I will be ministering this Sat. the 25th @6:00pm.@New Life C.O.C.I.C. 5062 Maffit @ Norwood in a street service all are welcome help usher souls to the Kingdom

The Healing Blessing behind Y-HOPE?
God knows how many of our youth are hurting and confused. The power of the Y-HOPE? concerts and youth outreach is in healing that leads to hope! In many communities of our inner cities, we have a church on every corner; but few members ever come into the neighborhoods to address our increasing youth problems and needs! So often physiological research has proven that the behavior of our at-risk youth are symptoms of being traumatized . Many times we as adults talk at our children and not with or to them. Religion , families, and communities without relationships have become very ineffective. Y-HOPE? is first and foremost a God fearing outreach of people for change. To do the same things and expect a different outcome/result is the definition of insanity. Y-HOPE?'s vision realizes that we must do something different, by building healthy relationships with our youth if we expect a different outcome. People we cannot get around building positive relationships, or be without faith in our communities. So during and after the Y-HOPE? concert we will be doing just that. This is why the theme of the Y-HOPE? concert is Bridge Over Troubled Water. We view our youth as being in the troubled waters of life needing a bridge of love, faith and works for them to find the path that leads to hope. The Good Book teaches us that faith without works is dead, nevertheless, if we have faith but no works “then let us reason that fear must be in control! People the only thing that cures fear is love! For only in perfect love is there no fear. The good news is God is love! So in saying this, we work like it all depends on us; but always know God is near! So friends let us remember as we journey into Y-HOPE? Youth Concerts and outreach, that love is the key and foundation that leads to Youth healing!

A Y-HOPE THOUGHT!
Dear: Community
The North County Youth Council and Y-HOPE cordially invite you to partner with and participate in the Y-Hope Summer Concert 2009, a community outreach event which will be held on Saturday, August 15 from 4-7p.m. at Dellwood Park, located in North St. Louis County. The theme of the event is “Bridge over Troubled Water” The purpose of the event is to engage 500 youths, ages 8-18, with community stakeholders and resources for the purpose of empowering our at risk youth. Our vision is to sow a spirit of healing, opportunity, prosperity, and education that lead to hope. This event will link youth, young adults, residents, city officials, businesses, and community faith based organizations with the Divine purpose of service to our community. The City of Dellwood has endorsed this event. This Summers Youth Concert will include live music, motivational speakers, flag football, youth activities, networking, barbecued hot dogs, beverages, snacks, and t-shirts! We welcome and need volunteer time and financial in-kind contributions from partners and community supporters; which will help unite the resources that will ensure the success of the Y-Hope Summer Concert 2009. The North County Youth Council was organized in 2006 to provide a safe haven for youth ages 8-18 in North St. Louis County; and offers spiritual guidance, academic support, recreational activities, social development, and community-based mentoring. The programs are presented under the leadership of caring committed adults of faith. The council operates an after school program, three days per week; a “Winners Luncheon” (bi-weekly), which includes lunch, motivational speakers, Christian fellowship, and recreation (flag football) on Saturday mornings. We aspire to ensure continual growth and development in the community as we offer at-risk youth, age 8-18, holistic alternatives to healthier, fully functioning lifestyles. Please help sow seeds as we accept this undertaking. No assistance shall be deemed too small. We all must make the difference. Sponsorship options are available to meet each collaborators objective. I am requesting a meeting with you to strategically integrate your community based goals with the goals of this project. If you have any questions, or should need to communicate with me prior to meeting, contact me at: Please make all donations to Northminster Presbyterian Church / Y-HOPE? 1570 Chambers Road, St. Louis MO. 63136. Thank you.

Legendary in street ministry Ron Haynes joins Y-HOPE?
Ron Haynes ministry heavily deals with the street culture gangs, drug addicts, prostitutes, and those that feel as though they don't have a place in the will of God.I love laying hands on people that don't know they were suppose to fall, prophesying to people that think somebody must have "snitched" on them.
